The Leo Damone fashion journey started with a vision to create garments that express the essence of uniqueness, creativity and beauty. Every hand crafted garment is extremely unique and is derived from a vision, a sketch and a pattern prior to bringing the design to manifestation for our clients.

American fashion designer and firearms instructor Montana Hairston also known as Leo Damone derived his purpose for creating from his mother as he vividly remembers her making beautifully hand crafted wedding decor and home accessories as a child. Naturally he picked up the niche of sewing and an eye for design.

Leo made his introduction on the fashion scene as an entrepreneur in 1999 as a custom shoe designer. This path took him into graphic design very quickly as he sought innovative ways to create unique designs for customized footwear. After gaining success with his custom designed footwear Leo was challenged to design clothing to match the footwear he was creating.

After years of trial and error Leo decided to attend the Art institute of Pittsburgh where he studied Graphic design, Brand development and Merchandising. During this process, Leo was able to gain adequate knowledge to navigate his vision into manifestation as the Leo Damone Clothing store was formed in 2021.
